Entry was formed out of three types of pine; Oregon, Douglas and Scots Pine.

We liked it’s usage to be versatile, so Entry can be seen, as storage furniture, for sitting, climbing and as a display shelf.

Entry is a project that is a part of the themed exhibition GRAN (Pine) hosted by the HOLDBAR Design Group, that consists of designers, architects and artist focusing on innovation and sustainability in design concepts and production.

In our process we looked at various sorts of pine and their inherent qualities both regarding texture and appearances.

As a result we set to create a furniture piece, as a composition, that would exhibit the different sorts and their contrastive characters.
